Boric acid is the best poison to kill cockroaches
Most people buy insecticides such as Raid or other chemicals without realizing that they can be harmful to the inhabitants of the house (always read the instructions before using them). These products would only help them if they could kill the cockroaches at once, and that is impossible if they do not know where they hide.
If you spray the area with chemical products, and even if the cockroach is exposed to the chemical, its death process does not affect the eggs.
Young cockroaches are born immune to what killed their mother. Some people leave poisoned food for them to take back to their shelter. Cockroaches do not share food, but they do like to congregate and have a special pheromone that the others follow.

The first step is to clean the house. Make sure there are no food particles left because the cockroaches feed on the remains they find. Avoid, also, leaving dirty dishes in the sink.
The second step is to monitor that there is no standing water somewhere. Make sure the pipes do not leak. Cockroaches cannot live without water.
The third step is to use the boric acid powder.
How is boric acid used to eliminate cockroaches?
Boric acid is very easy to use even if inexperienced people have a wrong idea about how to do it. Most people think that they should place it in large quantities. Unfortunately, that is not the way to use it since cockroaches would avoid it because of their difficulty moving around in the dust.

To properly use boric acid, you must place a light layer barely perceptible to the human eye.Although, it has been shown that boric acid is no more toxic than table salt, use a pair of cleaning gloves or latex gloves to protect your hands. You will also need some coins to put inside the plastic bottle. They will help you stir the boric acid while you shake the bottle.
Some bottles (which contain boric acid) come with a blocked nozzle so you’ll have to cut the tip to open it. All you need is a small opening to spread the powder. Unscrew the top, drop the coins, and replace the lid. Make sure you have gloves on, so you can fix the powder where you want it.
Most of the time, the bottle is large and has a lot of air inside. Place your finger in the opening of the bottle and give it a couple of quick shakes so that a fine mist of powder floats inside the bottle. Remove your finger from the opening and spread a fine mist of dust over the surface you are treating. That’s all you need so that it does not get too heavy and sticks to the cockroach cuticles.
There are bulbs and bellows that are designed in the same way and that introduce a thin layer of dust into cracks and crevices.

This homemade recipe is very simple to prepare, and it will help you eliminate cockroaches easily.
Mix equal amounts of sugar, flour, boric acid with a little water.
Once the ingredients are mixed, you should make balls with the dough and spread them in the places frequented by the cockroaches. The trick is that the sugar attracts the insects, the flour sticks to their legs and the boric acid kills them. This trick works very well, and it will undoubtedly help you get rid of cockroaches.
What does boric acid do to cockroaches?
When the cockroach walks over the treated area, the positive charge of boric acid will adhere to its body. The damage it causes to the cockroach is double. Young cockroaches usually die in 24 or 48 hours. Where are the cockroaches?
Cockroaches like to be close to food and their shelter is usually close to any source of water and food. If you have seen cockroaches near a certain area, it is not entirely certain that their shelter is nearby. Cockroaches leave clues to other cockroaches to find food. If you start seeing cockroaches during the day, you have a serious infestation.
The best places to start treatment are the cracks and crevices in the cabinets that must be sealed with silicone or putty. If you have visible pipes, cockroaches could be using the space between them and the wall. Try sealing that area with can foam. Look, also, behind and under the refrigerator. Place the dust behind the appliances you have installed permanently.
